Mackenzie not only successfully completed The Local’s education program, but also took advanced balayage classes and became certified in 4 methods of extensions. All in the last year or so! Heidi may be new to Colorado, but she is not new to helping others look and feel amazing!  With 19 years of experience, she is committed to delivering high quality haircare services and staying current with techniques and trends. Throughout her career, she has worked various roles within the beauty industry and has a lot of experience with a little bit of everything. Heidi has a passion for all things hair: from lived in color to vivid creations , all types of cuts, and can give a killer perm. This dog and plant mom enjoys live music, grabbing yummy food and drinks, and cannot wait to explore the outdoors. Heidi is detail oriented, loves a good challenge, and is ready to wow you with her skills!

Yahayra was born and raised in Montrose Colorado, moving to Denver in 2023 after graduating cosmetology school in 2022. From day one, she has had a passion for artistic expression through personal beauty.

Her favorite part about being a hairstylist is connecting with clients and prides herself on providing guests with a custom experience from start to finish. It is important to her that every person feels safe and welcome in her chair, and her warm personality makes this easy. Yahayra loves all blonding services, and textured/layered haircuts, but her absolute favorite is vivid colors! In her free time, she enjoys snuggles with her cats, thrifting with her best friend, collecting tattoos, and brunch with her partner. She can’t wait to take care you!

Lexie has been a stylist for 9 years and her favorite services to provide always involve color. She has a passion for lived-in color, balayage and doing blondes. Lexie loves helping her clients achieve their hair goals and finds it so rewarding when they absolutely love the results. Her favorite thing about doing hair is that every day brings a new adventure and challenge. After a thorough consultation discussing textures, color history, hair struggles, and desired end result, Lexie will have you covered confidently! Ashley has been creating magic behind the chair for her clients for nearly 9 years. With years of specialized education under her belt, she is continually perfecting her craft and passion for hair color, styling, and cutting. She brings extensive experience in fashion color, rainbow hair, balayage, blonding, color corrections, dimensional hair color, extensions, textured hair and razor cutting. Ashley combines her intuitive abilities with her passion for hairstyling to form deep connections with her clients to achieve an underlying goal of always creating hair that leaves them feeling beautiful inside and out. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, she’s followed her passion of travel and hair since a young age. When she’s not behind the chair, you can find her behind a deck of tarot cards, or at the dog park with her pup Zeus. Tori is the face behind the phone and desk welcoming you into the salon. She is relatively new to Colorado, moving here after growing up in Boise and attending college in Salt Lake City. She has over 10 years in a variety of customer service and hospitality roles, from restaurants to ski resorts. Striving to make everyone feel welcome and at home in the salon and in life. Co-owning a local art business is a passion project with her fiancé, she is incredibly passionate about interacting with and supporting her community. Tori has a fun, creative energy and enjoys going to concerts, thrifting, travel and spending time with her kitties outside of the salon.
