KenzisCauses- Packz4Kidz
We are partnered with Kenzi's Causes to help children in need! For details read below…
Who they are:
Kenzi's Causes works to support underprivileged children and their families across Colorado. One way they help support children for back to school is Packz4Kidz. For this event, they will be providing 3,000 backpacks full of school supplies to children in need. Packz4Kidz will be taking place at the Denver Nature and Science Museum on August 10th from 9:00am-1:00pm. Backpacks provided will be for pre-schoolers through 12th graders. It is always first come, first served.
How you can help:
At The Local Parlor we will have a barrel where you will be able to donate. These donations must be brand new water bottles, backpacks, or lunchboxes. We will be holding this drive for the month of July and all donations are beyond appreciated.
To give our thanks to those who donate, we are offering 10% off of your retail purchases for each item that is donated. (Maximum percentage off = 30%)
Examples:
One backpack = 10% off of retail.
One backpack + one water bottle = 20% off of retail.
One backpack + one water bottle + one lunchbox = 30% off of retail.
If you bring more than three items, you will get 30% off.
What we are doing:
To show our support for Kenzi's Causes, we will be taking the day to give back by giving children quick dry cuts from 9AM-1PM on August 10th at the Packz4Kidz event. We will be closed that entire day, please call in advance to make appointments in August if you need a Saturday! Thank you!

Join us September 7th for our first annual The Local Bash, a celebration of community and a show of appreciation for all of our supporters! Come let loose with your favorite salon group from 4 - 8pm. We will have DJ Stevie spinning his magic, the best birria tacos from Cooking with a Crown, yummy cocktails, and hourly raffle prizes! You don't want to miss this great time and opportunity to mingle with other awesome people, you never know who you may run into :)

Memorial Day Festival
Help us kick-off Summer with three days of great family-friendly entertainment, delicious food, local vendors, and so much more! The Festival is located on the 1000 block of South Gaylord Street. Join us for the 52nd Annual Memorial Weekend Festival!
Saturday evening features live music, food and drink, and Sunday and Monday feature artisan vendors, rides, live music, and food and drink!
We will be closed Saturday May 25th for appointments, but our doors will still be open to you! We will have drinks and some games set up in the salon, so please come hangout and enjoy with us! Everyone is welcome!
